My work - ceramic sculptures and other figurative works - moves between innernal perception and outside reality. It translates emotions, memories, and social themes into powerful yet fragile forms. Using clay as a  material of choice, I combine body awareness and dynamics into open narratives that invite the viewer to a personal encounter with the work.

The process in my studio is a journey characterized by sketches, drawings, notes, and inner images. I work to develop atmospheric characters in specific postures and movements that convey an inner tension.

My works are characterized by a lifelike depiction that allows the viewer immediate access. The figures are often depicted unclothed and in a state of frozen motion. This nudity emphasizes their universal expression, while fashionable accessories and clothing are deliberately omitted to underscore the essence of the human figure.

Through my experience in movement theater, I bring dynamism and physical expression to the sculptures. Each figure tells a vague story that can be individually interpreted by the viewer, who can thus establish a personal connection to the art.

Clay is my preferred material. Its strength and fragility reflect precisely what I want to express—the ambivalence of human existence. In addition to figures and body fragments, I also create animals, objects, and installations, often in combination with other materials.

In my sculptural and visual works, I explore how emotions, memories, and social structures can be transformed into visible forms. This work depicts Angela Merkel during the 2015 refugee crisis.

Drawing and painting have returned to my work since 2025. They are created in direct connection with figurative sculptures, allowing me to explore further aspects of a given theme.
